What am I worth?
Can money define what I am worth? No, not alone at least.
What about my talents and abilities, would a comprehensive list be able to define my worth? I don't believe that's it either.
The sum total of my life experience and choices I've made? Still not quite enough.
So what is it that defines my worth in the world?
Is it the service I provide others? I'd like to think I provided good service to others, but something tells me that's still not enough.
How much of my view of my self-worth is based in the past? I believe this may be the more important question. My overall worth in the grand scheme of things only partially lies behind me. Just as important must be the stuff that lies ahead. And because the possibilities are endless (I am an agent unto myself, I choose my thoughts and actions), wouldn't that suggest that my value is potentially endless and infinite?
What can I do to quit worrying about what lay behind and accept myself for who I am becoming? If I can figure this out for myself, I believe I will have accomplished a great feat of self-awareness that opens the doors of eternity to my view. Until I "realize" (multiple meaning alert) my worth in the grand scheme of things, I will suffer myself to apathy and self-pity. Dam-nation, a stoppage of flow, stagnation.
Rise up above the gloom and see your REAL self, the WHOLE you, not the incomplete version based on a conscious mortality, but the YOU that perhaps only a meta-consciousness can see.

Check out #43
Sigh . . .
Follow this link and check out #43 on the list.
I guess someone might think my sneezing thing a little bit too extreme. Oh well.
I prefer to look at things from this young man's perspective:

Ah, to see life from a different perspective can be very energizing, no?
